My buddy used to use credit cards to do an end run around his banking delays.
I understand you can do wonders with debit accounts now, probably don't need the credit cards.
Delaying your money is how many of the money handlers make their own money. It is to be expected, and a little is not unreasonable, we understand these things.
However, Paypal is perhaps one of the worst offenders, seriously interfering in the flow of legitimate transactions so they can steal your interest.
Paypal is a criminal organization. Their day of justice may yet come. I hope to dance on their grave.
There are so many orgs involved in finance these days, usually you can find someone to accommodate your needs in a reasonable fashion. Insurance companies, for example, offer banking services for those who have money, and usually the services are better, cheaper, and simply more flexible. If you own assets, they will accommodate you.
I remember the banks here used to be closed on Sundays. If you took your check from work on Friday, it wouldn't clear until Monday, or later. But Sears would cash it for 1.5% on Friday afternoon, so you could party all weekend. I used to do that. I used to party hard.
Oh yeah.
