It's sacrilege to use a church for any other purpose than worship. Churches shouldn't even be used for AA meetings or social gatherings. They are houses of worship. When no longer needed for this, they should be demolished.
Buildings aren't sacred. YOU are the church, that building is just a building. New Age women attach sacred significance to inanimate objects too, don;t be like them. Resist the temptation to fall into mumbo-jumbo like a primitive. Remember that the thing that is sacred is the soul inside your body, and that soul's connection TO your body as well. Any old empty space will do as a gathering place for fellowship, even an old barn is fine. God Himself was born in a manger.
