As for your vices, the puritans would say, "Take out the wild horses if you wish the wagon to be drawn."

Something like that.

But really, some folk just want a 'regular job,' they don't wanna work for themselves, they don't wanna be rich, they wanna leave their problems at the job when they come home.

Some people wanna teach, for example. There's nothing wrong with that.

It depends on how you define 'success.' What makes you happy, while still being a 'responsible' citizen or parent.

Knew a guy whose dad had a successful subcontracting company and the dads brother was homeless. When they landed a big contract they would collect the uncle from the streets and put him on the job. His alcoholic, homeless uncle is one of the best caulkers when he’s not drunk and homeless.

And then some people like me are extremely driven and motivated to be successful, and have their own company, but just can’t seem to get the break they need to put them on the next level. I’m doing just fine but I’m hoping persistence will end up putting me where I wanna be. Taxes is a huge reason why it’s so hard. About 25% of everything I earn goes to support people who don’t deserve it

Oy Vey Goy ! You need to pay your " fair share " , niggers and spics are counting on you .

Yes, those are the ones that contribute to 'society,' hope you get that break..

Shit. More like 38%

Yeah you’re right it is that high but with all the deductions that I manage to claim I get it down in the 20s

I got behind for over 15 years, finally settled and got to keep my property which I thought they had seized.

So I came out way ahead, settled over $150,000 for under $500, used a lawyer...could have worked out differently though so one shouldn't take the chance.

I hate them with a perfect hatred. STILL having to pay them something though I'm retired.

For some reason Terry Davis popped into my mind when reading your post. Probably because he's a good example of.

Oh yeah. Poor guy, probably tons of examples like that.

Crashing a plane into a Costco would be fun

Don't want to be a tax slave, so I live a money free existence as much as possible. The root of all evil

[–] 2 pts

I agree, I'd rather live in a cave than deal with all the crap, fortunately I'm 'retired.'

The LOVE of money is the root of all evil. Jesus loved King David, who was rich as fuck.

Exactly. And Solomon. And the "rich young ruler" and more.

VAT and other taxes take twenty fucking percent out of my god damn pay.

Eh;

  1. male genital mutilation
  2. hormone birth control
  3. "mental health" drugs
  4. GMO foods
  5. carbs

Those.

Semi-pro musician here...I know and have known hundreds of great musicians that will never play beyond dive bars because they are total drunks or dopers. I live with one, he is beyond delusional. I was caught in the same trap til I (mostly) sobered up. Very frustrating!

Amazing, and frustrating to see yeah..
