My sister and I tried it once growing up. We didn't have a single sale :(. It was a rural road so not much traffic. That and I'm sure we didn't put the signs out far enough, maybe a hundred feet or so. People fly on that road. We never stood a chance haha.

I ran one out of spite because a kid we liked to tease opened one. We set up across the street from her and sold larger cups for cheaper, eventually selling at such a low price that she broke down in tears before her mom gave the three of us $20 each to stop (minimum wage at the time was $3.25 and frozen lemonade sold for 15c/can). By the end of the summer, we ended up getting along, but I really enjoyed the day we started that stand.
