My sister and I tried it once growing up. We didn't have a single sale :(. It was a rural road so not much traffic. That and I'm sure we didn't put the signs out far enough, maybe a hundred feet or so. People fly on that road. We never stood a chance haha.

Listen you dirty faggot, you and your sister were selling unregistered lemonade.

If I had my way, you would both be in Juvenile Hall until your 18. After that, you'll go to Federal Prison, and get suicided by the same person that did Epstien.

Give me the $14.00 in quarters you made today, and we can make this all go away.

All he's got to do is call Country Time Lemonade, they will pay the fines.

We were hydrated. So that's a plus.

I ran one out of spite because a kid we liked to tease opened one. We set up across the street from her and sold larger cups for cheaper, eventually selling at such a low price that she broke down in tears before her mom gave the three of us $20 each to stop (minimum wage at the time was $3.25 and frozen lemonade sold for 15c/can). By the end of the summer, we ended up getting along, but I really enjoyed the day we started that stand.

I remember when I was in school, I began selling gum for 5 or 10 cents a piece, until I was told by a teacher to stop because it was against the rules and it hurt the cafeteria or some bs (it was a lie).

Still, I made about 10 dollars or so, and for a kid that age I was really happy.

The funny part is that the cafeteria didn't even sell candy or sweets in the first place.

Also, another kid began doing the same so I had to create deals/promos like "buy 2 get another for free".

Good times.

Low chance. Has to be White neighborhood these days.

Always made better coin by walking ditches and collecting cans.

This story took a very unexpected turn. lol

Yeah, lemonade stands work in moderately packed urban to suburban areas. In neighborhoods.

You learned the lesson about real estate: location, location, location.

At home I make sugarless homemade lemonade. It’s very good. Just literally enough fresh lemon juice in the water.

Lemonade is a gateway to bartending. Soon they'll be selling whitclaws to 5th graders if they want to make any real money.

did that as a kid, think all my siblings, friends and relatives did it. never sold anything except to other kids that played in the neighborhood.

pretty sure the stories that pop up are b.s.
