Ahem ... * AKSHUALLY * what you are experiening is the end stage of a long term pattern recognition process. Your brain has picked out a pattern, followed it because you cannot ignore it once your pattern recognition system lock in and now you have come to a place in your analysis where you package up the observation and you are putting a label on it.

That isn't the interesting part. The interesting part is after you have packaged up a whole bunch of these and stacked them up, you start to notice the following:

Human minds (yours and mine as well) are NOT free to think what they want. Our brains only THINK AND BELIEVE WHAT THEY ARE ALLOWED TO BELIEVE. What our brains believe is almost exclusively controlled by the local context and frame the mind exists in.

So, in the middle ages before tv and books, what you believed was controlled by your local village. In modern times, what you believe is controlled by the media that you consume. You can clearly see this on the left, we see all of their media and all of ours and can clearly see WHY they believe what they do and why we believe what we do. Here on the right we have the fucking Q people burning their lives away chasing gophers in order to predict the spring. There is some wiggle room and our nervous systems have slightly different wiring from individual to individual but this pattern is true for every member of our white species. It is so true that you don't need to know what a person believes, you can just list all the media they consume and all the social groups they belong to and you can derive almost 100% of their belief structure.

This is where the fun begins because now you have past explanatory power and future predictive power. For example, if you know the media your target consumes you can now start to plan either buying up all the media in order to control what that group believes or you can look at the demographics in order to try and figure out how you can shim out segments of that population and take control of their belief system.
