In the black communities the 20 year old kids in grade 5 would be planting crayons in the sidewalk and sitting there confused before leaving to rob a store.

During high school, I worked at an inner city summer camp.

Can confirm that would totally be the case.

None of these kids had ever seen a daddy long legs, nevermind a frog or bat. Explaining to them that vegetables come from plants was surprisingly common.

You ever fucking ask me to imagine something again you'll get something you won't like.

Man... imagine the ass-whupping!

Sounds like the kind of utopian commie bullshit ideas that Mao used to come up with on the regular.

does it scare you?

Isn't that the Left's favorite tactic, to accuse me of being afraid of something because I think it's lame or stupid or gay as fuck? Am I "stupid idea phobic" now, because I think your "Every School Should Require Every Student to Plant Food" idea is about as communistic and poorly-thought-out as the disastrous "Four Pests Campaign" Chairman Mao imposed, where they had schoolboys killing sparrows because they ate grains and fruits. Turns out they also ate locusts, whoops, total crop failure.

How much food do you think they'll get out from one plant in a single pot? How many trips to the supermarket would one plant save?

We did it when I was a kid, now I'm a farmer with baseball field size food plots.

Imagine if all the decorative plants in your town were, instead, food producing plants.

I'm assuming you mean a plant that will be around for more than a season... so, like a fruit tree?

... those are typically meticulously grafted. if you try growing from a seed you're going to get something sour and mealy.

... in any case, have fun feeding the rats if they ever get them to grow.
