The only reason they need to give the shot is for modern circumcision practices. The vitamin k shot is for blood clotting/ coagulation. It is true that a baby has very low vitamin K and not able to clot its blood very well when it’s first born. In religious practices, circumcision is done on eight days, by that point the baby has enough vitamin K to not bleed out. So basically the only reason they give the shot is to be able to perform circumcision on the day of the baby’s birth. And of course big Pharma loves when they make money off every single baby so they market it as a vitamin for all genders.
