Badly. He's being tortured so much that he plead guilty rather than his stated not innocent. How badly tortured, and what variety is unknown but most likely sleep deprivation + solitary + enough but infrequent and awful food. Also that's all kind of old news so his pleading guilty probably "earned" him some big "luxaries" relative to what he had.

My guess is he's in iso/ solitary confinement. That is torture after awhile , I'm sure terrible food , probably sleep deprivation too
