Camping

Waking up and going to sleep to the sound of Lake Michigan is amazing... No cell signal at all, good company, family, and lots of bacon. What more could a guy ask for?

We stop here every year.

2.8 miles round trip

1.88 miles round trip. There were so many different terrains in such a short trip. Cedar swamp, pine stands, hardwood forest, bog, etc... Found some Huckleberries (wild blueberries), raspberries, blackberries, and a wild cranberry bog that was surrounding a small lake that was the destination of our hike.

Awesome views of some large predators. Definitely worth a visit if you're in the area.
