It was, but the job was so far above my skill level that I didn't even know what half the terminology meant. They just triggered on some basic keywords and a few technician level words I used.

This always pisses me off. I put Windows desktop on my resume in one tiny little bullet point, and I get contacted all the time for Windows sysadmin jobs. The other 99% of my resume is Linux and security. I honestly know almost nothing about how to admin Windows.

I'm an electronics tech, and I know some python and C++, what electronics tech these days doesn't? I get calls for senior python developers. So, I know your pain.
