A real recruiter that has a contract to find someone for a company shouldn't be afraid to tell you who it is, because they have the contract to find someone.

I've met a lot that treated the process like a state secret. I'll ask once for a company, job duties, and expected pay. If those aren't forthcoming or they're "Well, that depends..." it's bye bye time.
