so I had a bad week at work. problems with coworkers, the job, computers not working, etc. went out hiking in the woods afterwards to blow off some steam, take a dip in swimming hole, and be in nature.

i walked to an area where there is a scenic overlook. at the overlook was a guy down on one knee with a box in his hand front of a girl. sure enough, he had just proposed and i all but caught them in the act.

i am wicked happy for them -- good young white couple. i got to take their first wedding photos. those guys made my night.

Had a shitty week recently, and took a trip to my cabin. Met up with some really cool White hikers, and ended up letting them stay at my cabin for the night. We had an awesome time talking about their trip, and exchanged emails so we can reconnect later. Something about wholesome White moments really brings you back to a healthy state of mind.

My work computer died this week too. So glad I had backed up to my personal external drive just the night before. Of course, if our IT had its way I wouldn't have been able to do that backup for "security" reasons. Good thing for Linux live USB device.
