Yeah. They could held me for 72 hours, but they only held me for 12.
Here in Belgium they can keep you for months if they think you're a danger to other or/and yourself. The decision is in the hands of the judge and the college of psychiatrists. This has been abused in the past. Not long ago a doctor denouncing the vaccination campaign has been committed for three weeks just because a college of ''experts'' said he had lost his mind.
Here in the states it takes but one judge, and one or two doctors. Your court appointed lawyer appears in court for you in the role of a guardian ad litem.
That sounds like a horrific miscarriage of justice.
