Poetry about nature is pretty cool. Also some 4Chan poetry is pretty based.

Show us some. Poetry that doesn't suck would be a breath of fresh air.

Somewhere along the way, the concept that art in general should be beautiful was scrapped, and poetry seems to have embraced that trend.

The publishing industry is a cesspit of diversity pushers. That makes it hard to find anything good being produced, though I'm sure it's out there somewhere.

Most Poetry written are written by Absolute Amateurs who read Sylvia Path and Never Grew Up. And even Plath has some winners but it's definitely sad sack as fuck.

But there are some fantastic poets out there. Yeats (Who famously summoned a vampire to kill Alistair Crowley), Kipling (Who's poems are based as fuck - I recommend starting with The Betrothed). Robert Howard's Poems are brilliant wordplay and manly af as well.

But there's a lot of shitty poems out there. A fuck ton. But there are some brilliant poets out there that really let you feel the world - and not in a sadsack way. There was a poet who wrote poems about pig farming and they were genius.

The problem is we've got all these people who think they can be doggerelist, vague, with unconvincing metaphors, political statements, and a general lack of quality. But how can one read The Betrothed, or A Song To Mithras and not want to lift heavy objects?

Lol funny timing for me.

Wife and I are currently staying at a bed and breakfast in Ireland. Went down for our first breakfast yesterday and sitting at the table were a father and son from CA (no issues there) and a married couple that claimed to be poets.

He was a little bitch cuck that would look at my face until the moment I established eye contact he would look away.

And she was a complete ham-beast.

Bukowski is ok. Something for the touts, the nuns, the grocery store clerks and you! was the best I've seen of his. Overall, though, he seems like an acceptable blue collar voice that the academics can praise. At least he doesn't totally suck, I guess.
