Let me give you another one. We feed the critters that come into the back yard. First come the feral cats, then the raccoons, then the possum. They come to eat and go. However, once there was a little kitty that stayed. It would hide while the others ate. We fed them just outside our sliding glass door. One day the little kitty came up to eat. I was sitting in my chair watching TV. Just then my wife came down stares. I told her to open the door slowly and stand back. The kitty came inside climbed into my lap and went to sleep. We had been adopted. She was the sweetest kitty that you could possibly imagine. She would sleep with her head in my wife's hand on the pillow and crawl under the covers when it was a little chilly. We wish she could have lived forever. She had a long and happy life.
I love this.
Thank you.
And then the feline went into cardiac arrest, heart exploded, died of cancer or was put down into an endless and infinite, eternal death.
Cats are super underrated!
