Wonder where they are now?

Wonder where they are now?

Didn't get sick, didn't get the shot, didn't believe a word of it. If someone mentions covid to me in public, the conversation ends there.

I'm the only individual in my company who stood his ground on the shot. Everyone was threatened with the possibility of termination if they didn't get the shot, and this was like 4 months away from the January 8th deadline that the feds were throwing out there.

I had two guys standing in solidarity with me, but they caved. One of them got really sick afterward, missing 10 days of work because of the reaction he had. After that, any time I was pressured to get the shot, I would point out that I do not want to risk getting sick for 10 fucking days. Fortunately, I hold a position where I'm essentially the facility manager- that building is mine, and the operations within are mine.... and I'm the only one in our region that knows all the details.

So I'd say "If I got the shot and got sick, and I missed 10 days of work, our entire operation would fall to shit. It would be an absolute disaster, you don't have time to remotely train someone to take over my long list of duties. My attendance is practically spotless, any time I've had to take off I put in for it long ahead of time, and I have never called out sick. I have been exposed to people with covid many, many times, and I am fine. Please stop pressuring me to undergo this medical procedure."

I think that phrasing of "pressuring me to undergo a medical procedure" scared HR/upper management. I just waited it out, and sure enough, the "mandate" disappeared, and I was home free! Still, the months where it was all in question... that was kind of hellish. I almost want to sue for the stress and agony I was subjected to over this shit. It is hard not knowing if you're going to suddenly lose your job over the fucking clot shot, many sleepless nights and I was very irritable on the job; I admit that my attitude began to grow shitty, because I felt like "Why am I putting in all of this effort for this company, when they won't even put in a tiny bit of effort and exempt me from this bullshit?"

I remain unshot to this day. Almost everyone I work with (all jabbed fully) has had covid at least once since January, and missed work because of it. I am the only employee out of around 100 who didn't take time off for covid or the shot itself. And I'm not really an impressive specimen of health, I'd say a little above average and I'm just really conscious about hygiene (DON'T TOUCH YOUR FACE, PEOPLE!).

If someone is pressuring you to do something there is an extremely high likelihood that it's not in your best interests to do it.

I dealt with precisely the same thing you did - and I basically told them "I'm not getting it. Ball's in your court" and waited for them to respond. I was fully willing to get fired over it, because I knew damn well that if something happened to me afterwards, they would not give the slightest fuck for me, or my family if I ended up dying from the jab. The set of circumstances you were faced with, is almost identical to what I dealt with (several guys caving, me being the only one not to, being in a position where if they fired me they'd be fucked, being the only one who hasn't had the wumonia where others who were jabbed have had it once or several times). In fact, with the last one, I made a comment about it to someone else, remarking how it was funny how everyone who's jabbed has had the wumonia, but I the unjabbed haven't had it. Deer in headlights stare in response.

And of course, the media brilliantly framed the clot shot's effects: "See, it doesn't actually prevent you from contracting it- it just makes it less severe and easier to recover from!" You can't argue against this... because a person who has the shot and gets "covid" doesn't know what it's like to have covid without being shot. They have nothing to compare to, they're just trusting the soyence.

They did the same thing with masks- "The mask doesn't protect you, it protects other people from you!" When the media planted this notion, and it took off and became widely accepted, it now became socially acceptable to harass people who don't want to wear the fucking muzzle, because the sheep will perceive that person as a lethal threat. It's all about framing, with propaganda.

Why did your peers cave in? The guy I work with that I really thought would hang in there with me till the end- he was also essential. Basically, if our company lost myself and him, our company would flounder and fail within a matter of weeks. I'm not talking shit and being arrogant- it's the nature of modern workplace in USA, each person on the team has one job title... but we have the duties of like 12 job titles. This creates very competent people who can overcome and improvise, but it's also really risky to "put all your eggs in one basket".

My friend didn't cave in and get the jab for work. He did it because his wife's family still lives overseas, and he wouldn't be able to travel there without being shot. He decided that this was worth getting the shot; he also said he was partly motivated to "get people to leave him alone about it". IMO, that's fucking harassment from the employer.

Did the fear of termination motivate your bitch friends? Do you make sure to remind them that they are bitches on a regular basis, and that they probably won't live to see 2030? I do. People are starting to not like me, lol.

You should sue. Listen, unless and until these people are made to pay for these violations of rights, they will just do it again the next time around.

For the fact that they got away with so much already sets a terrible precedent and there needs to be a reckoning so that nothing like this ever happens again.

The government used businesses to do its dirty work. The businesses sided against their people. That cannot go unanswered.
