Two of the 40+ attendees were going at it all day. One is a Pakistani male. The other an Indian male. Both in their early 50s and who have carried their hatred for the other country across the planet to the US.

One younger person asked whether they knew each other before the meeting. I told her they didn't (which is true) and explained the history. He said something like, "so in addition to smelling like goats they act like jackasses?"

His initial reaction was disbelief, No way could he smell bad enough to offend people. It took a while to get the point across that Western sensibilities are different. He was OK with it after I explained it enough. He even started wearing clean clothes more often.
