Probably gonna delete this just because, man it's dead around here.

I need somebody to do a post that says BREAKING!!, or, you know, BOMBSHELL!! Feel me?

Even if it isn't (cause they never are anyway am I right, well AM I punk?).

Have you looked into song writers guilds? I wrote a song as a child through a guild that would advertise to record companies that was purchased for a measly 600 dollars but was huge to me at the time. The purchase was made anonymously so I don't know what artist has it but I have my suspicions that it went to Taylor Swift. Only 1 line of my song was used so it is possible my song wasn't used at all and someone else in the world pulled that string of thought together at the same time as I. ("you're the reason for the tear drops on my guitar")

Nice, I've been out of it for a while..

Finish what you start nigger.

If you wrote a chorus then write the rest.

Songs are easy.

Good songs though aren't easy. Yeah you're right though.

I played some songs I wrote, for Willie Nelson once, just me and him.

But they were lousy, he was nice about it though.

Willie is a pretty nice guy, I felt lucky to meet him. Your brain may be more the organizing type and less the creative, each has its benefits and retractions.mine is a bit skewed to creative, coming up with new ideas is easy. Getting it all together to actually do something with those ideas is harder…

[–] 1 pt

Yes, I am actually more the creative type, I just think I gave up too quickly, easily.

Yes he was very nice, had his ear, just me and him, for about 30 minutes.

time?

I wrote a hit song once, but they didn't release it.

My other song still plays occasionally on the radio and Spotify, it's amazing how little they pay nowadays.

Wow, that's impressive. I never got anything going.

[–] 1 pt

I have some very famous musician friends , that didn't hurt.

COME ON MAN, name them.....

Honestly, I could have been so much more, but I went for the better odds

I bet you could have, and you have the confidence.

Yes, I eventually gave up and went to art school.

My dream too

Seems so hard and yet easy at the same time.

I used to pitch country songs to a studio in Pasadena TX near the old Gilley's.

They recorded 'Heart Don't Fail Me Now' (good song, the writer played it on his acoustic for us) and 'Bluest Heartache of the Year' another great one that got some traction. First one though just did so so.

ZZ Top with 3 chords. It does seem easy. Yet so damn hard.

work out until you're about to pass out or see god for 30 minutes. the hardest you can go. like near "death." then sit and control your breathing for 30 minutes after. set intention and you will receive info on how to proceed with the song writing. works for me.

[–] 1 pt

Man, that sounds like something I should try and do.

[–] 1 pt

it sounds fake or like too simple. but it always works for me. the harder you go, the more comes to you.

[–] 1 pt

Speaking as someone who has written a hit song, which nobody has ever heard, your chances of getting rich are better if you buy lottery tickets.

[–] 0 pt

Wish I'd have known that. But I wouldn't have listened anyway.

It's a big club, and you ain't in it.

[–] 1 pt

you wont tho because the cult only allows a small number of people to write the lot now
