My grandmother hated that (((they))) ruined the word gay. I don’t know when the rainbow thing began, but my father always said it’s supposed to symbolize God’s covenant with the people, not some degenerate mental disorder. Also my grandfather referred to black musicians as screaming niggers, even the Jackson 5, can’t imagine what his commentary on current nigger music would be (though I do enjoy a lot of the metal, which I’m guessing he would also find rather distasteful).
