I think I like them more than snow. Hard to say, never had to shovel lightning bugs… probably like a nice powdery snow with a hint of rave. Better off using the leaf blower. Both are better than mosquitoes, they should hang out. Lightning bugs in the snow would be cool.

They had lightening bugs in the Midwest in Missouri. I haven't seen them on the east or west coast where I've lived for years. I loved watching them years ago fly around at night in the summer And in Missouri they were called lightening bugs.

I'm hoping to move back in that direction soon. I haven't seen them since I was a kid. We don't have them in California. Loved watching them summer nights.
