I had one of those back in the 70's. Back when they told us we'd be out of oil by the year 2000.
Nigger. I have a garage.
Me too, but my truck is too big for my garage. My TT and 550 live in there already.
Most newer vehicles have integrated locks in them. Besides, a thief will simply cut a hole in your tank if they get desperate.
modern plastic tanks make this pretty easy to do...
Get a metal locking cap, the plastic ones do not hold up against a screw driver.
Unfortunately, the ones like those in the picture can be opened by just pushing on the lock while you turn it. One of my first jobs was at a gas station, people were constantly losing the keys, so we found ways to open them without. Better than nothing though, and at least someone might move on to someone who doesn't have one.
