You make a good point. But when NPC's say "I got covid reeeeeeeeeeeeeee" they think that they got the same flu that the fake pandemic was centered around.

Yeah, and that was/is super annoying as they then would take a test that wasn't meant to be used in that way to "confirm" it.
However, the propaganda and manipulation was pretty strong. There were annoying folks but some were legitimately scared into it.
