I went off sugar and full strict keto for about year and a half.
After that I went back to eating normal whole foods, sugar only occasionally.
Sugar is very addictive and you might find it difficult to quit if you go cold turkey, depend how much you were eating before.
I would advise anyone who wants to quit sugar to start with 16/8 intermittent fasting and reducing sugar consumption over the 1-2 week period, if cold turkey turns out to be too difficult.
I’ve been fasting for a week or so. Thanks for the info, foodman. I fully expect to be able to levitate any moment now, and cease needing oxygen.
If you feel like that it would probably be your soul leaving your body. No need to take things to an extreme.
