I'm just embarrassed for them. It's a proclamation to the world that they are afraid of something; that they have allowed themselves to be manipulated and brainwashed with lies. I want to pat them on the shoulder and say, "You don't need to wear this, friend. You never did." But I don't, because they have been conditioned to react with fanatical hostility and violence.

I always wanted them to wear a t-shirt saying 'I'm stupid'

Now they do

Saves me a lot of time.

I find myself ignoring them like so much back ground noise as they have cast themselves into an NPC role, particularly at this late stage in the game.

I'd be willing to wear a mask inside someone else's private property if that's their desire. Luckily nowhere I want to visit really cares about masks. I will never wear a Covid mask in my own home, in my own car or outdoors, though.

Yeah, I used to wear one in my buddy's (coworker) van at his request when we'd go out to the datacenter together. His property, his rules, even if I think it's a faggotty rule.

/u/Anus_Expander says we're gay and that you should tell your buddy/coworker to fuck off.

Well, it's either do my job or find a new one. I went ahead and already found a new one, but I needed that one at the time. Plus I'm not a disrespectful prick offline.

I would have said that no matter what the situation

GAAAAAY

tell them to fuck off.

Yeah, my first impulse, when I see someone wearing a mask, is to try and educate them to the fact masks do not prevent transmission of viruses. But I always stop myself from saying anything, because like you said, I know what their reaction will be. The best I can do is not to shake my head and roll my eyes.

I yearn to punch them, but at 6'2" I am easy to spot by the cops
