Yes, I know that the fraction of a cent might have once been useful when fuel cost ~$0.20 per gallon and stations charged extra for taxes.

Yes, I know that it's a trick such that people read the larger digits and ignore the smaller ones, to somehow make the fuel appear ~$0.01/gal cheaper.

That doesn't make it less gay. Plus every gas station's prices end in 9/10, so nobody's saying, "Oh, this station is $0.001 cheaper per gallon than the other one." The difference in price per gallon between stations is always $0.01 or greater. There is no competitive edge to using that pricing model if everyone does it.

I always round up. When the sign shows $4.059 I say it's $4.06 because that's what it fucking is. Only a retard thinks it's "$4.05".

When gas was five cents a gallon, it made a difference, but it should have been eliminated once it passed fifty cents, or there about.

I graduated in 1972 and bought a Chevy Vega soon after. At that time you could buy gas at a USA station for .27 cents a gallon. I even remember when we had diesel delivered for our farm, in the 60's, it was .13 cents a gallon. I'm probably too old to be on here shit posting, but it beats the hell out of watching Jew TV.

How to tell us you're from Colorado without telling us you're from Colorado.

No, it's just common sense. Same shit applies to retail merch - $9.99 - is $10 fucking dollars. Just stop jew-splaning the prices because I have to pay tax anyway, but at least the taxes are already included in gas station prices.

It's wild that someone can think $1000 is too much but $999.99 is great.

But people be tards, and it works more than it doesn't.
