Dunno yet. Stainless steel. First day with it besides using it for fishing yesterday. Try to not use it constantly. Working with water, so don't want it to rust out to fast

I keep a couple in a tackle box. Always around salt water and still slide very nicely. I do spray them with wd-40 every so often.
