It’s apparently a problem moreso for “low income” people, and I would imagine single mothers.
Think about it. In both cases, the mother likely has to work pretty much the week after giving birth. So, she isn’t around to offer her own milk every day.
Of course, breast pumps also exist, so I don’t know.
There is also a percentage of women who legitimately can’t breastfeed for one reason or another. I don’t know the numbers, but whatever they are, they shouldn’t just be ignored.
I believe that's right and this breast pumps are a pain in the ass from what I've seen. Plus not all jobs make it a convenient option.
