And for how long it's been going on. Apparently in the 1960s, breast feeding wasn't even encouraged by hospitals in new mother situations.

With formula being touted as a feminist victory, freeing women from their babies to be able to work for strangers instead, it's no surprise when this started (the 1960s).

Furthermore, the usual argument for formula seems to be jealous women who can't produce milk. But, why isn't that seen as a major health crisis, instead of a selling point for formula?

Commies really fucked up our world. Women have two devices on their bodies that produce the most amazing infant food anyone could ever conceive, but they were tricked into buying processed shit to replace it. It blows my mind that this ever could have happened. It's almost like selling prosthetic legs to healthy people.

Fuck commies.

Some can’t produce enough milk.

My wife can’t make enough and the kid will be starving. Starving children scream at you.

same here. we have to supplement with formula at times. not ideal but whatever.

Same here. Our pediatrician today said we're on track to wean him off in a month or so. (he was 4 weeks premature).

We did that as well…. Or just put formula in the milk to help the kiddo get full enough to sleep through the night

It actually started in the 1950s. My mother told me, formula was touted as better, healthier, something like that. Only poor mothers breast-fed their babies. Thankfully, we were, well, not poor, but frugal. This was in the early 50's, it may date back farther than that, for all I know. At that time, it had nothing to do with feminism, but Modern Times, post-WWII. Moms were still primarily stay-at-home.

Similarly, Hi-C was healthier than orange juice squeezed from oranges. Supposedly. And store-bought white bread was better than home-made whole wheat bread.

Feminism, the cultural marxist jew construct, was around long before the 1950s, and it’s all about setting the stage. The love for women’s “liberation” didn’t begin with the 1960s. It had seeds elsewhere - Rosie the Riveter, truancy laws for public school, coed colleges.

You're right, I didn't take into account the women who stepped up in the 40s to fill the jobs left empty by men who went to war. I'm sure that was part of the plan.

The (((war))).

It started with the entertainment industry. Teats became popular for public viewing. Women like myself that fed my babies from my body were shamed. I was told to sit in a public restroom by my then MIL when my oldest started fussing to drink. I sat in the center of that damn mall being a stubborn monkey. Similar experience with my 2nd. Mothers were considered low class and lazy if they stayed home with the kids. The pressure is enormous especially if your husband won't back you.

Then when it became popular in recent decades for Moms to stay home, jews invented the horrible Stay-at-Home Dad.

Another example of weak men being the real root of the issue (beyond the main root, being the Jew). Fucking faggots.

My wife has suffered from this perception too, where women are told their only identity is from working for strangers. It was then I realized how hard it is for women nowadays who want to take care of their families, but are told they're worthless for not going to an office.

Not wanting to white knight, I'll say I'm sorry that men have been such weak fags for so long.

Yeah it's all the men's fault. Bring back the patriarchy!

My sister in law refused to breast feed her kids. Why? Because she's fucking lazy. That's the only reason. She didn't want to have to get up in the middle of the night to breastfeed she wanted to be able to make her husband take his share of baby duty and make bottles.

I have to imagine that's at least 1/2 of the women who use formula and the other 1/2 are probably "career oriented" and leave their kids with a daycare and don't want to deal with pumping and storing milk. Also due in part to laziness. Kikes killed maternal instincts in the modern woman.

I mean, she could have used both. Doesn't seem like she really did her research.

She's a lazy miserable cunt. There was no research being done she had her mind made up before that baby came out.

We gave it a shot. Two weeks post delivery her tatas dried up. I did get the antibiotic tata milk. That was nice.

Having a baby sucking on her tit is part of the whole mother-child bonding process. If it doesn't occur, the bonding isn't complete, and never can be complete.

after i had my c-section, two things happened. my chest went from a 34b to a 34 damn ZZ. it was like out of a horror movie. then overnight my temperature spiked to 104, i almost died. as a result of that fever, the milk in my breasts literally spoiled. in order to prevent me from getting other serious infections, the doctor had to give me a medication that completely halted my ability to produce milk.

it was a very bad time. so, you see, it's not that all new moms don't want to breast feed, but things happen.

Lemme see those zz bobs mang

they are back to normal. thank the heavens. that was one of the scariest things i ever went thru. imagine if you woke up one day and your penis was an elephant's trunk.

imagine if you woke up one day and your penis was an elephant's trunk.

That would literally be awesome

I understand that there are one offs like this, but I'm talking more about the more general situation. We could also talk about women who have had serial killers cut their tits off, but that doesn't invalidate the point.

That the only arguments against treating nursing as the norm are specific situations goes a long way toward proving the point of my question.

i agree. but problems with nursing are more commonplace than we realize. back in the good ole days when a mother had issues, there were wet nurses, trusted women, who filled the void.
