This sudden abortion ban is really weird. There are really crazy things going on, like gay marriage, transfaggots, child grooming in schools, hormone blockers for children, including many other batshit crazy things, and no institutions care about what is going on. Instead of doing something to stop what is going on, they suddenly decide to ban abortions. This is not rational at all. I'm not sure why exactly they pulled up abortion ban from the hat, but I'm sure there is some hidden reason why they did it exactly now.

The OP has a point. I, too, think it is odd that the Supreme Court decided to pull this rabbit out of its hat at this time, in the buildup to the 2020 midterm elections. The Court has always been inclined to liberalism, so why suddenly do something so conservative?
