Starting to feel like everyone I encounter nowadays has a card. There's a few that don't have, though the behavior is very distinguishable at this point. Definitely makes life more difficult/different when didn't need to be this way.

I’m assuming you live somewhere where it’s needed?

I live somewhere that rewards this behavior, had employer indiscretly offer a reward for being able to prove status.
