If you're automatic camera I'll let you choose an exposure and a fake film speed choose a film speed of 200 set a aperture of f8 set the shutter speed at 1/400 of a second. Choose the light characteristic as outdoors or sunshine if your camera allows you to do this. Now when you're outdoors taking pictures your camera doesn't meet need to meet or anything and it won't be fooled by shadows or anything else and it should be underexposed by about One Stop which will make your photographs look very professional because there won't be white hot spots in the pictures and it will fade to darkness rather than overexposure which always makes things look crappy. The rule with shutter speed and film speed is if the film speed is asa200 then your shutter speed should be 1,200 at f8. But you actually want to underexpose it rather than overexpose it so you want your shutter speed to actually be one 400 of a second.
Alternatively if you have some electronic camera or your phone you can tell your phone to underexpose all your pictures by one exposure stop and that will make all your pictures look better. Once again if you can choose the color balance of the photo manually and your outdoors just always choose sunshine. Never choose clouds never choose any of the other nonsense just always choose sunshine and your photo will look like the real world like you remembered it and the colors will be right and it won't try to Auto compensate out all the bright colors that you're trying to take a picture of.
