That sounds pretty good. Bring some books, PHYSICAL BOOKS (not audio books or Kindle or w/e), some puzzles, any workout equipment you have like dumbbells or a pull-up bar.
And then just disconnect in this house you're looking after. Disconnect from the madness, and reconnect with yourself. Sit in the silence. You'll be amazed at where your mind takes you when you're not constantly bombarded with new information. At first, you may feel bored and like you must reconnect to the machine. But if you can just resist this for a day or two, you will find SERENITY unlike anything you've ever experienced.
After you undergo this "detox", you can come back in a much healthier mind frame. You'll feel better physically and sharper in the mind.
An update on this, I'm moving in to my mom's place and starting a garden and a chicken coop. Two things I've always wanted to do. I have had some experience with chickens growing up and really enjoy watching them from time to time but it'll be a leaning curve.
I'm gathering up resources on how to do these in a northern climate
