Modern ICs can replace that old stuff back at mission control on the ground but in the hostile environment of space they're just too flimsy.
There are supposedly thousands of satellites in orbit around the earth, dozens of missions to Mars, missions to Jupiter and its moons, and every other planet in the solar system. EVERY SINGLE ONE UTILIZES INTEGRATED CIRCUITS.
So explain to me again why we can’t send a man back to the moon?

I was being too vague. I should have said they can't handle going through the Van Allen belt specifically. But that's a good point about the space probes. Maybe the computer thing is just an excuse for NASA's incompetence. Or the government doesn't want to go back to space, they want everyone looking down in the dirt like slaves instead of looking at the stars.

Look, I know this is difficult for a lot of people. It’s not easy to wake up one day and realize that everything you thought you knew about your world is a lie. Ignorance is bliss, truly. Waking up to the truth has made me an angry, resentful, and bitter man. For years I prayed that the eyes of my family would be opened to these truths, but I have come to the realization that I don’t necessarily want my family burdened with the things that I know. My sons? Sure. My wife and daughters? Absolutely not. They don’t need to know some of the shit that I know, and I am finding over time that I care less and less about these things as well. They have robbed me of my joy and they have probably stripped me of years of my life due to worry and stress, and to what end? I would rather focus on the things in life that are important to me: family and God.
Returning back to the topic of the lunar missions: we are entering a period of time where the lies that have been propagated by our governments are going to be exposed, and as we all know that list is a long one. All trust in these institutions will be completely undermined, and it’s going to be difficult for a lot of people.
You could send a man back to the moon but why the fuck would you? Waste of fucking money. Also, they won't send a man. They'll send a woman. A black, gay woman.
