Now officially prohibit misinformation and disinformation.

Community guidelines now state following: Do not share false or misleading information (otherwise known as misinformation) Content that is false, misleading, and can lead to significant risk of physical or societal harm may not be shared. We may remove content if we reasonably believe its spreadcould result in damage to physical infrastructure, injury to others, obstruction of participation in civic processes, or endangerment of public health. ---‐‐‐------------

That all sounds fine assuming they have some magical crystal ball which gives them the truth on everything.

This is face book level censorship.. where the MSM dictates what is true/false. No mention of how exactly it will be enforced.

I imagine it will be done in the same manner that web hosts control what webmasters allow on their sites.

Probably not on most servers.

The Discord program works by hosting user created servers (similar to internet messages boards). What you can get away with saying depends on the server mods.

I'm on a server with a small group of people from Europe/North America. Its not uncommon to hear a racist joke every now and then.

Most big public servers I would expect to not allow free speech.

I would never be part of a N-word-less group.
