Ahhh. Thanks for the clarification. I feel out of the loop sometimes. I saw AOU's new feature to find the shills disinformation campaigns. It is enough of a problem for AOU to spend dev time on it.
You'd think they'd spend more time doing things for their own community. I was reading about the abuse of their kids by their own rabbis - shouldn't that be a bigger concern than a bunch of rednecks on a message board?

Its okay to preach to the choir here. I think its the only progress we make here is talking ways to talk to normal people about this stuff. Otherwise it is all venting or sharing how bad it is where we are.

I hope you are right... but I think you are just being a 'useful idiot'. The entire political machine is hopelessly corrupted and is nothing but the illusion of a choice meant to pacify us into inaction. I know that a lot of people intend to 'change it from the inside' and I wish you luck... but the fact that you donate to PACs means you are still feeding the beast. Best of luck but my assumption is that you are just being drawn in to a purposely hopeless cause that is crafted to absorb your efforts and energy while not changing a single thing.

I've heard this multiple times from old timers. They've lost faith in the system. I know they are right. But I'm going to try while I'm young. At least until I burn out.
Also, I participate in two PACs, not donate. I am the 'PAC." Make sense? Myself and dozens or hundreds of others participate in these PACs. We lobby, write letters, send e-mails, organize events, etc. I have a "cute" t-shirt from the charity event we did last year, for example. Not all PACs are about transferring money.
They've lost faith in the system
You hit the nail on the head on that one. Over the last several decade I have become hopelessly black pilled. I can no longer see the light. I am not radicalized because I have a family. Fear for their safety keeps me a recalcitrant but obedient slave.
