It's set. She'll be let go in mid May, using up her leave, and officially discharged the last day of June. (All unvaxxed have to be out by July 1st) That puts her 11 months before her 20 years.... no pension. It's all legit, and attorney has suggested we don't throw good money away (which is about to be tight) to pursue a better outcome.

What's her specialty?

She works supply. Basically manages a warehouse, ordering equip for the unit, etc. They're marketable skills, if a company doesn't require the vaxx. Biggest thing is the time put in, without the pension pay off. It is what it is.

The reason I ask is Boeing is usually hiring, they're veteran friendly, and they recently dropped their mandate for getting the jab. They're a good company to work for if you can handle the bullshit of a big defense contractor.

We also have DSCC here, part of DLA, but I don't know how far they're going to civvies to get the jabs.

Out where I work the Boeing contractors have a reputation for being alcoholics.

I'm unsure when she'll be ready to hit the job market again. We prepared for homelessness (we're not going to be homeless, we just prepped for it) with a 4x4 van that we're going to take 'off-grid' for as long as we want. We're going to fish/camp/hike through this shit. In a few years, we'll come back and see what society settled in to.
