Putin said on Russian media that Russia had no choice, because Ukraine was genociding Russians in Donetsk and Luhansk, two separatist self proclaimed republics that want to be independent from Ukraine. Meanwhile the western media are claiming that Russia invaded Ukraine just for the hell of it, without acknowledging the genocide. As far as I know, this is exactly how WWII started, when Nazi Germany invaded Poland and the western media denied that Germany had no choice.

Two possible scenarios:

1 Ukrainians were genociding:

Any evidence, at all, that that Oblast was genociding Russians?

Any evidence, in the information age where everything is captured on social media, that they were genociding Russians (this should be very easy to prove since the Ukrainians are are detailing every excruciating detail while this goes down, on social media).

2 Ukrainians were not genociding and this is Russian propaganda. You are either full of shit or you fell for the propaganda.

1 should be easy to prove.
