It is now my problem. It’s now on my doorstep.

They made it my problem. My government hates me and my family.

I get your issue, but you're not going to solve it by creating animosity in your neighborhood.

It's better for you to help them acclimate to our culture. You can be the bridge that makes them more Americanized rather than preserving the full cultural baggage of Afghanistan.

Also, they make insanely good food. I've known a lot of Afghans. Some are as Westernized as you or I, and some stay more traditional.

Juts be friendly, introduce yourself, welcome them to the neighborhood, and invite them over for dinner one night. Just don't look at or speak with their women, or comment about them to the adult males. If they're straight out of Afghanistan, they might not understand that it is normal for us to ask about them specifically.

It sucks that our culture is being supplanted against our will, but you'll only make it worse if you don't help to Americanize the people being plopped down into our communities.

lol, ok. What are you going to do? Murder your neighbors? That'll get you far. You should really consider long-term strategy rather than some short-term antagonism which will get you exactly nowhere. But that's the problem with most people -- they can't see past their own noses.

Making the best of a bad situation while some guy fucks your wife in the other room may be your “answer”. It’s not mine.

Tacitly accepting them into the community is not an option.
