The banks are private companies, too. Even the federal reserve. And banks have banned people from their services for violations of their ToS, too.

It wouldn't surprise me to find out that it was the banks threatening to terminate GoFundMe 's payment processing ability if they didn't comply with Ottawa demands.
Yeah I am aware that the Fed and all the banks are also private businesses and they can and will refuse to serve people (another prime example is Andrew Torba), but there is at least a guise of "legal regulation" over banks. And of course the FDIC insurance scheme. I agree I would not be surprised at anything either, all I was saying is these online financial operators are even less accountable than the banksters.
