They clearly aren't at those companies. I've had to call for tech support enough times and I wouldn't consider them to be skilled.

None of the ones I can think of are in tech support. Actually that's a lie I just thought of one who I had to call for support who knew what he was doing. He was an insufferable asshole about it but he got the job done and fast so he gets a pass.
