I am going to stand up for the use of Thalidomide. However it was handed out like Aspirin. The side effects of the drug had not been determined back when it was widely used/abused. Thalidomide set forth a testing protocol which is to allow enough time in clinical trials to help Doctors be more aware of side effects of drugs prescribed to their patients. I believe some of the protocol for prescribing the drug is written in the FDA warning statements, which were taken from my research. I have a file cabinet full of studies that have been done in the battle against Cancer using Thalidomide. This is from back in the late 80's when my Mother was diagnosed with Non-Hodgkin's lymphoma. I fought the FDA for over a year to allow my Mother to use this drug and even the Doctor pushed back because he did not want to be facing a lawsuit. When we were finally approved and the Doctor convinced that it had promise. It was too late as my Mother could no longer swallow. Thalidomide is now being used to fight the very Cancer that took my Mothers life, under a different name I believe is named Contergan. I do understand your message and point about releasing drugs that are untested. But leading to a mandatory vaccine using an untested drug is Barbaric, in this day and age. The tell tale sign is that no one has any responsibility for failure. The blood-sucking, ambulance chasing lawyers should be all over this.
