I was lying down in bed, and had woken up. Eyes were still closed though. As my eyes were closed, my vision changed. It was something else. Not the usual blackness. Instead there was a grid. A bunch of squares. There was a dull grid pattern. It looked like a bunch of pixels. It reminded me of virtual reality except the video game wasn't running.

And here's the thing, it was not a dream. It didn't feel like a dream. It was me, with my eyes closed, staring at pixels. As if there was a computer screen in front of my eyes that was turned off, or not working.

Dude that's nothing. I've been in similar states and seen literal computer code. Not like typical Matrix green random characters falling vertically. But actual command codes in the bottom left corner of my field of vision, or dead center.

One particularly memorable time was when I did a fat dab after taking like 10 shots of whiskey and was laying in bed not feeling so good.

It was like everything just froze for a second and I saw:

hydrate. | -- reawake//

dead center behind closed eyes.
