They announced that some members were out sick due to Covid...and that everyone should remember that the major contributors to viral symptoms (particularly Covid) and slow recovery from illness are diabetes, obesity, lack of exercise, and it would do us all good to correct our lifestyle accordingly. Additionally, they reminded everyone that the ones who're badly sick with Covid rather than minorly inconvenienced are all obese, diabetic, and get minimal exercise.

I'm old enough to remember back when the old question, "Is the pope catholic?" was funny because it was supposed to indicate something so obviously true, and had been for about 2,000 years, that it was beyond question. Like the probable location for the bowel movements of bears.

Not so funny anymore when it becomes an actual question, looking for a truthful answer.

I've been learning about orthodoxy by listening to RooshV of all people. But their churches are very few and far between, none around me that I can find.
