After the demise of the Second Bank of the United States, the state banks, those chartered by the various states in the Union, operated the banking system of the United States and issued all of the money. Almost exclusively, this money was backed by gold, not by debt and paper money. However, the financial position of the federal government had been slowly deteriorating; “At the outbreak of the war the United States Treasury was in greater shambles than Fort. Sumter. The Civil War actually started in 1837, the year after the charter of the Second Bank had expired, when the Rothschild family sent one of their representatives to the United States. His name was August Belmont, and he arrived during the panic of 1837. He quickly made his presence felt by buying government bonds. I'd like to add that if you look into Alan Pinkerton, you will find a direct connection between Lincoln and Rothchild. In my opinion, Pinkerton was the most cold, calculated and vicious race traitors to ever walk the Earth. If you look at what he did to the Chartist movement in Britain, and his role in the Civil War, it reads like a frenzied jew wearing Scottish flesh, all to benefit his jewish masters and of course his own pocket.
