It would be great if you could pick the coverages you wanted. I see benefit in having insurance for broken bones and mechanical physical injuries. I paid for lifetime Lifelight insurance since I work in the woods around logging equipment. But fuck the lack of ability to purchase the services you actually want.

I have done carpentry most my life, and now work in the woods also. Cutting down trees alot of the time by myself. That always worries me a bit.

Lifelight insurance is shockingly cheap. At least it was a few years ago when we bought the family lifetime policy. Hand felling solo is a risky business. Stay safe, maybe you can find a based spotter.

I have an accidental death and dismembermet policy. Ive had some close calls but no serious injuries so far. Told my guys if it looks bad just walk away and let me bleed out. I love being out in the woods away from the bullshit. Im getting old now. No insurance. I hope I go quick.

I find it is really bullshit that you cannot get regular insurance coverage unless it is through an employer, or if you have a buisness.

Are you saying a basic auto insurance policy covers a hospital visit or a doctor's appointment?

Medical payments for the policy holder can be optional depending on your state. Bodily injury for others usually is required.
