We have about 2ft of fresh very heavy snow on top of the 2ft or so accumulation. Plow won't start; it got iced down overnight. So just have to wait it out. Of course hubby is working this problem. If I'm wise I'll STFU until he's had a 2nd cup of Joe....FJB!

If you have a leaf blower (a good one) and the snow is still powder, it will blow that shit away allowing you to access your snow blower.

You know the flexible hose for dryer exhaust (assuming an electrical dryer and not a gas one)? Get some of that (once you are able to) and run it from the outside of your house where the dryer exhaust leaves the house. Aim the hose at what you want to melt and run your dryer.

My house is at 2500 also and lots of snow. Running out of room to push snow with the plow. Need to knock down the berms again. Going out to plow again as soon as i get out of my pajamas. Driveway is about 140 yards or so. Lotta snow to push.

That sounds comfortable. Assuming you know you won’t starve or anything. Then again I like doing nothing. That’s why I’m so happy I’m sick right now. Cauze I can do NOTHING!!!!

2ft of ice? That sounds like a job for a jack hammer.

Sorry I meant 2ft of snow accumulation. The plow was sitting in little snow and it melted sometime predawn, froze up and then more snow. Now it's raining and so expecting a very icy situation in coming days. Good times. No niggs.
