This really should be stating the obvious... If you make a sub and set it to 'Mod posting only', then no one will want to participate in that sub. No one will comment and no one will engage. No one will want to become a mod for your personal play space. If users want to discuss or post something they should not have to get a mod to approve the subject first.

I don't have much of a problem with mod only posts given the technical subject. it's going to be super low traffic and the most likely poster is a mod anyway?
