It was an interesting year. I think we all went through hard times, but I can't speak for all of us, so instead, I'll speak for myself. It was a great year, a painful year, a year of learning things that I did not want to know. I learned how gullible I am, and how gullible everyone else is. Friendship is ephemeral. Family can be everlasting, but sometimes even your Father will renounce you for having an unpopular opinion. Work tried to bully me into getting a "Vaccine". I told them I would not, and if they wanted to talk to me about it outside of work, I would, but talking about it at work was a waste of time. They relented, and one boss tested positive for Covid despite being Double-Vaxxed and Boosted. As of January 3rd, I will no longer be allowed to dine in any bar or restaurant within the City of Philadelphia, the City I was born in. This is fine. I do not want to associate with people who are so very compliant. I love my job and I love my coworkers. Other than the Covid Faggotry, it really is an ideal work situation. I get to actively help someone everyday. This feels nice. A few people I loved died. One killed himself with a gun, another killed herself with alcohol, and the last chose Fentanyl. I think all of these death may have been preventable, if only we weren't complacent. I wish I had talked with them more. I keep on waking up, day after day, and hearing that sad voice that tells me Hope is nowhere to be found. That was a typo. Hope is Now Here, to be Found. I'm very thankful for very few things, but one of the things I am thankful for is you. Without Poal, and all of its' users, I would thoroughly be convinced that I am mad. I think this place goes against the grain. And I think that is the right thing to do. This upcoming year will be the best year of all time. Do not give in to negativity. Be happy, and know that you are the one who will make a difference. I believe in you, and I believe in the future. 2022 will be the Year We Make of It.
