They're just telling the truth about what they want. We never had or were intended to have a democracy. They have always wanted us to devolve into direct democracy since it's infinitely easier to work around than any system of checks and balances.

Compromise - it no longer means finding a solution that is acceptable for both parties. It's now fully gone over to the dialectic usage of just giving up your position for the (((good of the group))).

AI is being employed. DoD claims to be able to predict a few days into the future with pretty good accuracy. For sure the actual capability of the system is better than that. Game theory is old news and is fully automated. Is it sentient? Perhaps not, but it is some kind of advanced intelligence.
